Its team, comprised of scientists and experts from diverse backgrounds, collaborates on projects that involve the intersection of education, technology, and STEAM fields. Through a combination of theoretical, systematic, and empirical approaches, IES contributes to the evolution of teaching methodologies in the digital age.
IES employs an interdisciplinary approach that encompasses various disciplines, including general pedagogy, didactics, professional research, educational system research, school development, teaching research, and technologies. Within this framework, the Department of Technology and Didactics of Technology works on educational technology, instructional design, and the integration of technology in teaching and learning.
